RUSAL launches bauxite exports from Guinea’s Dian-Dian

MOSCOW, Jun 19 (PRIME) -- Russian aluminum giant UC RUSAL has started exports of bauxite ore from the Dian-Dian mine in Guinea, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

The company has constructed a mine with a capacity of 3 million tonnes of bauxite and of all the infrastructure for transportation and storage of ores.

Proven reserves of the Dian-Dian bauxite field stand at 564 million tonnes.
